I've found that most Dunmers I've encountered have a hard edge to them (which is understandable given everything that has happened to them).
I notice that the dark elves of Solstheim are particularly pragmatic in their approach to life.
Was he born in Solstheim or Morrowwind? If he came from Morrowwind, was he in Solstheim prior to the mountain going up, back when it was Imperial or post when now that it's mostly Dunmer?
